Redesigned to be more functional than ever, the Ascensionist Pack 30L is the Goldilocks of alpine climbing packs — big enough to get you into the mountains, yet small enough to climb with.
My Role:
Built multiple iterations of new cinch-top closure concept (in my home studio during the pandemic) in order to meet design intent and functional needs.
Created original patterns by draping, creating sculptural forms, and using CAD software to generate a new form factor.
Built reference sample prototype to illustrate new construction techniques and streamline creation of the first factory built prototypes.
