The XL 55L Challenge Ski Pack boasts a feature-rich design suitable for larger loads, with a narrow frame sheet for stability. It performs admirably on big approach days and offers the necessary versatility for lighter ski days.
My Role:
Collaborated with Inline Design in the initial phase, taking full responsibility for building initial form studies and making pattern change recommendations based on the results.
Led the construction of the finished prototype, ensuring that design specifications were accurately translated into the final product.
Personally tested the prototype by bringing the pack on a backcountry ski trip in Sequoia National Park, providing firsthand feedback on its performance and durability.
