Comprehensive ownership of concept, design, patterning, and prototype build for the new SST Vest.
Traveled to the factory and worked hands-on with their development team to troubleshoot construction challenges and bring the design to life.
Delivered clean, functional aesthetic prototypes that were field tested in Patagonia by Yvon Chouinard, with multiple rounds of iteration based on direct feedback.
SST Fishing Vest - engineered for serious anglers, offering a high-cut design for deep wading and full weather protection, with the ability to remain fully submersible up to the pocket openings. The innovative pocket divider utilizes T-shaped flange tape, a proprietary sealing technique that creates a multi-volume pocket system, ensuring durability and waterproofing. With a design focused on capacity and ease of use, the vest features spacious pockets, a massive zippered drop-in pocket on the back, and multiple tool attachment points for seamless organization and quick access while on the water.
