Built for a big day or for multiday travel in the backcountry, the Descensionist Pack 40L is made for going fast and light in the mountains without sacrificing the essentials. The pack includes a dedicated compartment with quick access to snow safety tools.
My Role:
Comprehensive ownership of product design, pattern, protoype, and build.
Created original patterns by draping, creating sculptural forms, and using CAD software to generate a new form factor.
Developed Tech Pack to document and communicate new concepts, construction processes, and details. Created comment files for the initial factory prototypes.
Built field test prototypes to explore and prove new cinch-top closure concept and construction techniques.
