Built for quick descents in the backcountry, this slim-profile, close-fitting, freeride-oriented backpack has a spacious main compartment to hold plenty of layers, easy-access pockets on the hipbelt and shoulder straps, and a dedicated skin compartment on the bottom of the bag.
My Role:
Created comment files with factory instructions for necessary changes and improvements over the course of multiple rounds of prototypes.
Altered factory patterns and created original patterns by draping, creating sculptural forms, and using CAD software to generate a new form factor.
Contributed to product design by developing a unique shoulder strap featuring zipper pockets that can fit 750ml water bottles comfortably.
Built field test prototypes to explore and prove new concepts and construction techniques.
